It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic.
It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today.

This is an extremely fair point. There’s a LOT to criticize us for, but many people have also been successfully organizing their asses off under a climate of state violence, white supremacy, surveillance, union-busting, and in a legacy media landscape that refuses to acknowledge any of it.

Saying politicians should be better on issues isn't "demanding perfection."
One doesn't need to be "perfect" in order to oppose genocide and support trans rights. Those are *base labels of human decency*, not "perfection." And these politicians' stances are *choices*, not inherent traits.

When I was 14 my dad gave me a convention swag shirt with "Adidas" across the front. I crossed it out in red marker and wrote "anti-advertising" in big letters.

Then they say "that sucks, have you tried xyz magic cure?" and continue traveling and eating at IHOP
