Some people are still stuck in the poisonous delusion that Democrats are simultaneously powerless to do anything and capable of saving everything if they’re just given more trust and more power and more money and I hope someday they realize this is literally cult programming.

If you’ve spent the last few years saying sure you don’t like that there’s a genocide but there’s an election to win or saying yeah I think ICE is horrific and an existential threat but what about the midterms, maybe it’s time to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask who’s looking back.
Democratic politicians know that ICE isn’t just murdering people or kidnapping children or terrorizing constituents they’re sworn to protect, they know they’re constructing a system of concentration camps around the country.

Again. Democrats don’t want to abolish ICE. They helped create this monster and they represent the wealth class, which requires oppression. They’re trying to reassure people that they’ve got this covered while all they’re doing is putting a smiling face on fascism.

Make no mistake, the Right only gets more dangerous the more frightened they become. This is not going to be easy. We’re going to get hurt. It is going to hurt and we will suffer so much. But we have no choice. We have everything to win and nothing to lose.
The Right is small, frightened, their alliances riddled through because they will all turn on each other the first chance. They are vulnerable and we will crush them if we just continue locking arms and fighting for one another.

What we have seen in Minneapolis and other communities has nothing to do with Democrats and in fact has come in spite of their “help.”

I have no information on a drawdown in Minneapolis and I don’t think it’s likely at all that it happens. I am saying that even if they miraculously left it would be little more than catharsis. We have to treat this like the existential battle it is.

ICE leaving Minneapolis isn’t the end of anything, it would be cathartic and possibly curb some of the building revolutionary anger and energy.
