The wealthy have intentionally destroyed class consciousness so that they can exploit the vast majority of people.

If we’re going to fight back and ultimately win this class war, it’s time we got familiar with how our politics actually work.

Maybe important to note it was the disruption in air travel that Democrats couldn't stand and not, you know, 40+ million people not knowing where their next meal was coming from.

Chuck Schumer and the corporate Dems aren’t just not up for this fight, they have no intention whatsoever of doing anything that will actually address the material conditions that gave rise to fascism.

More people are waking up to this and that’s hopeful, but that recognition is everything.

Musk and Trump and the other oligarchs are miserable people and their endless cruelty masks that misery.

It’s more obvious now than ever that capitalism is an unfair and poisonous system. We must look at them and recognize the lies we were sold.

Money Can't Buy You Love: Fascist Oligarchs as a Cautionary Tale
Musk and Trump and their whole cadre of conspirators are joyless and give the lie of capitalism away. We should be grateful.

The “winners” of capitalism are lonely, unhappy, and destructive. They can’t even perform faux-happiness. That’s what fascism brings to the forefront. Capitalism is annihilation and it steals everything human and good and juices it of all its worth. These assholes are instructive, cautionary tales.

If the endpoint of capitalism is to be a self-destructive and miserable asshole, it gives the game away and depowers the incentive. And every one of these oligarch dickriders, with their infinite scams and cringe self-promotion and transparent boasts, only fuels the realization.

We should be infinitely grateful that Trump and Musk and all these fascist oligarchs are so transparently miserable and pathetic. It shatters the fantasy that has kept capitalism humming and makes it undeniable that things have to change.

MTG and castoff Never Trump Republicans are not your allies. They’re not joining your coalition unless your coalition has the purpose of turning the Democratic Party into the GOP that gave birth to MAGA.

It helps when thinking about the normalization of MTG to think of it more as an indicator of how the Overton Window has shifted so far to the Right.

This constant obsession over “has this Right Wing figure changed” obscures the truth that the political environment has changed.
Greene: "I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term in Congress and I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done. I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party."

Man, I can’t wait for a new generation of leftists to absolutely run these moderate quislings out of office and just rip to shreds these bogus reports and studies that billionaires paid hundreds of millions of dollars to corporate-stooge strategies to produce.

*stares at Cuomo’s votes after he was endorsed by Trump*

The moderates and fascists are going to be terrified. They’re going to be desperate and, just like we saw with Cuomo, they’re going to increasingly side with one another.

That’s what history teaches us and it’s on us to be ready for the fight. And, if we are, we will win.

Man alive. The contrast between the courage of voters and the absolute cowardice of Democratic leadership is just undeniable and the story of the moment.

The question is which will win out in the end and that question just got a whole lot louder.
Voters tonight said fuck this fascist shit. With Mamdani, they showed incredible courage to believe in change and a better future.

The work doesn’t end here, but everything begins with courage and if we are going to get out of this mess it’s going to take courage to believe in better.

Trump is a symptom of a larger disease and things will get worse if we keep believing he is an aberration rather than the evolution of a long, tireless antidemocratic project.

Amnesia in this will only deliver us to worse things. Let Cheney’s poisonous legacy be a monument to what we cannot brook.

As we wait today to see whether a leftist can defeat the Right and establishment Democrats, Cheney’s overdue passing is an opportunity to see how just far we have slid into fascism and how easily moderates can launder mass death and antidemocratic projects.

Never forget this. Remember it always.

The embrace of Bush and Cheney by the Democrats was a canary in the coal mine moment and it should never be forgotten. To see this mass murderer eulogized and see the historical record twisted is an insult and a signal that a vast sea change is necessary if we are to have a better future.

You don’t get Trump without Bush or Reagan or the relentless antidemocratic assault of traditional Republicans. That Cheney and other Never Trumpers could be held up as examples when they are guilty of midwifing this fascist moment is an indictment of this country and a warning signal.

Cheney was the worst of us and the world would have been better if he had never lived. This compulsion to launder the war crimes, the selling of the state to private interests, the authoritarian groundwork he built, is a confession by moderates of their own complicity and guilt.

Moderates can try and launder Dick Cheney all they want, but he was a murderous war criminal who laid the tracks for Trump and overt fascism.

We live in Cheney’s America, god help us, and it’s on us to dishonor him by undoing the damage he caused.

What’s great about capitalist stooges losing credibility (besides everything) is that their increasing desperation just leads to more and more debasement that then erases any of their remaining credibility and makes the whole game more obvious with every passing day.

Donate to your local food pantries and shelters. We still have no idea whether the emergency funds will be released and they’re not enough to cover full costs.

Build mutual aid. The only way we get out of this mess is to reinvigorate our sense of interconnectedness.

This is the essence of the emerging fascist state.

Access to resources and programs designed to make our lives better is being stolen from us so that the oppressors can use, hoard, and distribute them to friends and hold them ransom in order to force compliance.
Healthcare but only for my friends
Healthcare but only for my friends

Man, cool shit is so cool.

Baseball is a gift to humanity.

Establishment Dems see leftists as more dangerous than fascists because they threaten the capitalist status quo and fascists enable it to evolve.

In both cases it is the moderate’s job to express “concern” about both camps while impeding the former and providing impotent “resistance” to the latter.
Asked why Chuck Schumer hasn't endorsed Zohran Mamdani, Rep. Ilhan Omar replies: "I really don't know — it makes no sense."

"In an election, we support our party's nominee. Schumer has pressured other Democrats to do just that, and he should be following his own advice."
