Democrats need to try to pass something popular that they can get a couple of R votes on in the House so that Vance will need to come home to break the tie. He's such an obnoxious prick.
Maybe JD should have stayed home‼️🤬🤬

Well, this is one of the most disturbing articles I've read lately. The creepy reasons that MAGA women have those weird, overdone faces. Prepare to need a shower.

'Mar-a-Lago Face' Is Everywhere — And The Reason It's So Popular Is Kind Of Sinister
It's a caricature of femininity, and a must for any woman who wants to climb the ranks in MAGA world. But there are deeper reasons the look is so in demand, experts say.

I'll never forget her. I was gobsmacked by her in every way imaginable.
Everyone making noise about Olympic Skater Ilia Malinin (a white dude) pulling off the first legal backflip in competition as if he is a revolutionary skater needs to remember Surya Bonaly (black girl) completed a backflip in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and was penalized for it
I call Bullshit

Excellent point. Why do we accept all of this utter nonsense? I guess we're too busy trying to live off the crumbs the billionaires and politicians throw to us.
I do not know how people in the US accept those immense amounts of taxpayers' money to go on mammoth motorcades for their VP's presence at the winter Olympics in Italy, but if the Swedish PM would do that, he would have to resign.
The queen of Sweden uses commercial flights, like mortals like me.

The Vances took their own food. To ITALY. Why even go?
The 14 planes carried not only the absurdly huge armoured vehicles, but they carried staff, a lot of security personnel and a lot of food. These people carried their own food from the US to Italy. They carried US food to a country renowned for its fantastic food.
This is the pinnacle of absurdity.
February 9, 2026 at 12:22 AM
This is why the rest of the world thinks Americans are so obnoxious. Because we are. 🤢🤮
The US officials at the winter Olympic games in Italy (incl. Vance) did an obscene display of tens of mammoth armored vehicles carried via ~14 planes from the US to Italy that literally suffocated transit on the small Italian streets.
Italian officials walked their way, like decent humans do.

Mass incarceration in the US has always been gross, inhumane, racist, and brutal. I didn't thought it could get much worse. But of course it would. Even my devout pessimism failed me in this case, and I'm a student of Michel Foucault. This makes me physically ill.

man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you

Here's the latest variant picture with a global scope, to mid-January.

XFG.* "Stratus" continued to dominate, but was roughly flat at 60% frequency.

NB.1.8.1 "Nimbus" was also fairly flat at 27%,.

BA.3.2.* "Cicada" fell to 3%.

ICE/CBP/DHS do not need more money. In fact, what they have needs to be clawed back until they stop breaking the law.
Leading American companies — including Palantir, Deloitte, and private prison giant GEO Group — raked in over $22B from ICE and CBP contracts last year.

Do not forget who is profiting from cruelty and human suffering.

JFC, I hate this. And Democrats can't seem to decide if DHS should get more money.

Where do I go to see this? I haven't seen any athletes being interviewed or anything. Or do I need to buy CBS' streaming service for that?
I could not be more proud of all the U.S. athletes at the Olympics using their platforms to speak out against the hatred and violence of the Trump regime. We have a Team USA giving us pride in a moment our government is causing us so much pain and embarrassment.

I have a pretty complete theory of what happened here, based on basic criminology coupled with what the public has been told about the case, but I feel like if I write it down I might jinx something. It'll be interesting to see how much of it I got right, (if the FBI hasn't blown it.)
I bet if the FBI wasn't run by morons Savannah Guthrie wouldn't be forced to go on TV and tell some two bit kidnappers she'll pay millions of dollars in bitcoin for her mother's safe return
