I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

And unfortunately for us all, medical technology advanced at a rate where Boomers could be active well past where past generations would have geared down, so now they're functionally convinced they're immortal

The Boomers HAVE to be understood as the first generation for whom "being young" was the CORE of their cultural identity: They will *always* be the first teens/college-kids demographically big enough to have 'reshaped history' - EVERY acknowledment of aging is a dagger to that
