A huge reason that we're in the current shitty political situation we are today is that conservatives basically had a monopoly on SEO tactics because only the biggest pieces of shit in our society were interested in how to make money from scammy SEO shit. Similar situations with influencers etc.

This was such a weird historical quirk of Occupy.

Things definitely went sideways at the end of Occupy in a lot of unfortunate ways, but at least in Philly it was because of deliberate state sabotage.
Like the mayor here made a deal with a bunch of 4chan white guys and claimed they represented Occupy and Occupy had agreed to disperse.

I remember being worried that the final strip would be Calvin losing his innocence and realising that Hobbes was just a toy. That would have been heartbreaking. Thankfully we have this wonderful sign off instead. Sniff.
