Earlier this year I saw a judge issue a bench warrant for someone in the hospital because they had a LITERAL HEART ATTACK and when their attorney objected and reiterated that they were IN THE LITERAL HOSPITAL, the judge said "this is no less important. They could have gotten themselves discharged."

Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this. My favorite concrete, currently implementable idea is to union-bust and balkanize the police. This won't directly solve any issues with the police as they exist now, but it'll make it a lot easier to do so in the future by taking a lot of their power away.
