Met with the surgical oncologist again. She's negative for the BRCA2 gene, which means that the lumpectomy is the right choice. Should happen in early March.
We are VERY relieved by this news. I mean, it sucks that this has to be good news. But for "You Have Cancer" this is good

We had an appointment with the medical oncologist today. My wife had an MRI yesterday. Her tumor is 1.2mm and the lymph nodes don't seem to be affected
We're going to start with surgery and we're waiting for the genetic testing to one back before we decide on lumpectomy or double mastectomy
