The sizing on the Arches coldpress watercolor paper for this cute inked illustration has spoiled over time, so I'm going to try my hand at salvaging it and reapplying sizing, then painting it with watercolor.

I love a good comparison between finished art and lineart. It's neat to see how much art can change between stages!

Computer has been throwing some weird issues lately, so while Joseph tinkered with it (it's still down for the count, boo) I read through a couple watercolor books for Easily Influenced. I'm working on a just book round up

My old man cat didn't like car rides, but dang if he doesn't like riding in my lap in the Miata with the top down and Joseph driving

I wanted to retest my Rosa Gallery watercolors with something more geared towards their strengths, so I drew a sunny bouquet with sunflowers, chicory, and pansies for a fieldtest.

I've been working on some #watercolor brush demos & reviews, since my Silver Black Velvet Brushes are starting to lose their points. I went with sets, since I teach and since beginners often want to start with something preselected. Here's a photo from my Transon brush review.

For #InverteFest here’s a sterling silver octopus hair fork with an opal gemstone that I made a few years ago. I added circle stampings to the forks to represent octopus suckers.
This design is hard to press and easy to mess up, so I don’t use it a lot, but I love it!
