Yeah, we had to say goodbye early in Oct. I miss him like crazy, but he was an old man. We really hope to adopt another roof rat or two

100% We serve folks slices of that person, like a very rich cake, but very few want to eat that cake all at once.

Unhinged posting from me is me livetweeting reading Harrow Faire alternating with livetweeting the Labyrinth fanfiction I'm ALSO reading because I gotta do SOMETHING while paint dries, and I'm trying not to just be on social media. Nobody wants that level of unhinged.

You say you do, you THINK you do, but I am eating a bag of Halloween kitkats, fueled by a granita coffee, and making fun of Stargate while also painting with watercolor. It's a lot, I know.

No, please don't be sorry! I'm sure it's super helpful to other folks! Thats just...the one area I have under control right now, haha. I'm just looking for like, lightweight display stuff for books/art prints, a pop up tent that doesn't require strength to set up, lightweight options for tables

I appreciate your suggestions!

I don't actually need extra hands! Just...lightweight tables/display/ easier to work with tents, that sort of thing? I can't really afford to hire assistants, but I'm fortunate that my husband can help me in that arena!

I've tried Loops, and they'd be great, but in-ear stuff really bugs the heck outta me, and while I have some great noise cancelling headphones that make it easy to turn off the noise cancelling, that kinda screams "do not approach" to customers?

I bring fidgets & my spouse handles most of the sales these days (which I miss, I love connecting with people), but we're still lugging a lot of stuff (books! art prints! totes! gridwall!), & I'd love to find some more portable ways to display my wares.

My advice in return is that I stopped doing anime cons (too noisy & frenetic), & focused mainly on library comic cons (which I LOOOVE), but I am missing out on all sorts of pop up events that would be amazing for my audience, but I can't seem to manage right now.

I did anime cons, craft fairs, zine fests, and comic cons from 2011-2019, and started again in 2022, and my tolerance has just gone to absolute pot, and I hate that! So assume I know some basic stuff and am looking for alternatives!

Loud noise really makes my ADHD pop off in the worst inattentive way, and lugging and setting up tents has become almost impossible, so tent alternatives would be amazing!

Riiiighhht? If I were putting together a set though, they'd be so good. I hate when art supplies look super aesthetic and are awful!

They ARE! And if you get the clear plastic pencil case, its like, perfection!

They are pretty terrible 😅 The color selection was too pretty to resist!
