My mom's 19-year-old cat has an eye ulcer and needs to see a vet. I only just got to bed, but I need to set an alarm to work on that tomorrow.

As annoying as this was, can we all wish Sekhmet a very good kitty date with her main man Uhtred.💞
This is a repeat of what produced Hattie. There will never be a replacement for my girl I lost to bird flu, but if I'm lucky I'll get to meet a new tortie point I can open my heart to.

Sekhmet's FULLY SEALED can of wet food had to be thrown away, because it contained "too much liquid"
I *was* offered to be escourted outside to drain the liquid, go through security a 2nd time, and force the whole plane to smell wet cat food for 2 hours.

Uncle Heihei has been BEGGING me to let him play with nephew Panko. Because this "vacation" is to encourage Panko that scary things aren't too bad, I let Heihei in.

I am so incredibly exhausted today. I have to get a TON done before I fly out to help my mom for a couple weeks, and the emotional exhaustion is catching up.

So, I recently texted my mentor (who lives by my parent's) about figuring out a future date to bring sekhmet down to repeat the Uhtred pairing.

It turns out he had self-recorded his blood pressure that morning and he decided not to tell my mom that it was dangerously sky high, probably because he knew she'd rush him to the hospital and he didn't want to go.

The more we talk about and encourage people in our online communities to get involved with local politics, the more stuff like this will come up. I'm just working with cat shows, but I'm sure the local ____ union may be making AI posters, and it's PROBLEMATIC, but also a low priority fight.

When you see an artist working with a NON ARTISTIC club or organization that is using AI work, please reconsider commenting solutions you *think* should happen unless you plan to actually take the time to email the actual organization your idea.
Otherwise it just puts us on eggshells.

This is a new development, and it's the highlight of her stupid cat brain to wake me up just enough that I need to pee, granting her the chance to sit on my lap.

I realized that this month is the one-year anniversary of all my cats catching bird flu and losing my two best girls, and likely being the cause of Pig's death, all because the owner of the company I bought my food from decided not to announce cats were dying...and I'm not doing too okay.
