Macintosh 128k tower and display.

Another file, found by taking a deep breath and delving into my cringe poetry from the Amiga days. I apparently wrote this on February 2nd, 1988 at 4pm. I would have just come home from school. I was 16 and a half - almost a decade before beginning transition.
A dream I had. It started out I was a soldier in a war somewhere, it seemed to perhaps be in africa, there was always a hungry lion outside who was bearable, but would attack at the slightest provocation. I was a young guy, probably about 19-20 or so, and head freshly shaved, I had to guard a camp along with 2 other guys. the other fellows seemed to fit into it all so much better than I... I felt so shitscared, so vulnerable, and with gun in hand just felt so out of place. One night, the other 2 guys sneaked out of the camp and into a nearby town to party for the night, and I was left alone. along with the darkness, solitude and the beasts outside it was terror... and soon enough, 3 people turned up seeming like they were running from something, but while they seemed friendly, one of them shot another of their own, I shot another of theirs, and then I was shot, and the dream went blank, I was unconscious... some time went by and I woke up, scarred, but alive and well miraculously so apparently, and was to be sent home. As I left the camp I met a beautiful lady, pale skin, white/black dress, black hair worn up high, who seemed to be from the 1900's sometime. She smiled at me, and we talked, and she was taking the same way home as I was, and we talked more on the bus. while I had nothing to say about my life before the army I really didn't remember anything, she told me all about hers, about what she was doing, where she was going, and I started to know more about her than what she told, and the dream paused... like a movie stuck on one frame, and the 'camera' swung around so I was looking out from the lady's eyes, at this lost and wounded soldier before me. I knew everything then, that I was going home to my family, my sister and mother irl, and nothing looked sadder than the soldier in front of me. I had no idea where he was headed, and when I arrived home, he kept going off into the darkness I went inside, and the family and I ate, and it was all comfy.

One of the funny things about being trans is you might start out feeling it came out of the blue, but then find so much in the past showing you at least *thought* about gender fuckery beforehand.

I have been haunted by Mow Ringworld for 25 years. You all know it, bargain basement CD based shovelware, marked down to $10, $5, 50c... 'free bird frightener!'.

The game we all saw, but never bought. Last week on a whim I bought an unopened copy on eBay. I resurrected my indigo iMac to play.

its a raytraced infinite plane of grass, with slight fog in the distance, and light clouds with a blue sky. the clouds are perlin noise, as is the grass noise, but on different scales. math is cool. infinitely cool

Remember this from the 90s? No??? That's because I woke up with a splitting migraine today, and my malfunctioning synapses invented this abomination. I hyperfixated on it for several terrifying minutes while immobilized in bed. It haunted me all day, so here's my rendition of it.
A box that looks like Hamburger Helper, but it's called Lobster Secret, and the mascot is a lobster claw with the same face. It also says Maine Coast Casserole, Naturally Flavored, Finished in 30 minutes (after you make the lobster)
