The JCO post about Elon not liking anything is something I've said before about a lot of politics poisoned posting addicts. People who never once post about a band they like or anything at all. There are so many like that.

The AP tracked down details of some of the people killed in President Trump's military strikes on drug smugglers he describes as narco-terrorists.

They were, with one exception, not high-level criminals. One was a fisherman. One was a bus driver; another a taxi driver.

My latest podcast series with @drmphillipsut.bsky.social brings a sort of "interesting and horrifying" vibe to the discussion of the death penalty that executioners dont really like
I really enjoyed this series. Very interesting and horrifying.

Pick-me anti-feminism is when women argue that other women are the problem because they have different political views, that they're one of the cool girls who doesn't even want the right to vote, and they're willing to take it away from other women because they have different political views.

The only surprising part about any of this is that a Mack truck didn't actually hit him
Curtis Sliwa claims to have been offered $10 million, across seven bribes, to drop out of the mayoral race. Last month, he said he’d leave the ballot if “a Mack truck hits me, and I get turned into a speed bump, and they can’t recover me in the I.C.U.”
Inside Curtis Sliwa’s Never-Ending Campaign
The Republican candidate for New York City mayor has been aggressively ramping up his campaign, even if it’s to the benefit of Zohran Mamdani.
