Hey so Michael Burry (the dude Christian Bale plays in The Big Short) just took out a billion dollar short bet against a few HUGE Ai companies…………

Reminder that he made mega bank betting on the housing market to fail back in 2008. No one believed that was even possible at the time.

I was expecting the AI Coca-Cola commercial to look like shit, but I wasn’t expecting it to SOUND like shit, too.

I’m guessing that was AI, too, because otherwise it sounds like they got the most disaffected high school choir girls to rush through a song they hate at the end of rehearsal

Disney adults proved that they won’t stand for fascism, and they caved to the pressure, so I’m not too concerned about that.

Lucasfilm needs to protect their actors and crew of all kinds from fan harassment and hate. Learn from how Ahmed Best and Kelly Marie-Tran were treated.
Oscar Isaac says he is open to returning to STAR WARS but is doubtful about Disney after they suspended Jimmy Kimmel.

“I’d be open to it, although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney. But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great”

Wow, I can't imagine a brand of collectibles that manages to make every licence look the same, and does seemingly a bajillion versions for even minor characters no one would buy, might have a huge problem with debt.

They Funko'd too close to the sun.

#PredatorBadlands Going for some Army of Darkness style swings in the universe of Alien and Predator, this is a fun and often surprisingly touching adventure, this time following a Predator, with Dek being a protagonist to root for and empathize with, and Elle Fanning effortlessly stealing the show.

So my local looks like it's been passed over for One Battle After Another, but we're getting the Silents Synced feature for Sherlock, Jr. x R.E.M. in the New Year. 1920s silent films crossed with 90s alt-rock, which seems arguably, if not, OBJECTIVELY more niche!

Ah, at this point, why not?!?

Oscar Isaac was not open to working with Disney after Jimmy Kimmel's suspension and will only return to 'Star Wars' if the studio avoids fascism.

Psychopaths do not follow the law.
Psychopaths do not keep promises or honor deals.
That is their nature.
They lie and cheat and break the law.
The smart thing to do would have been to prevent such a person from becoming president.
But america failed at that task.
So we live with the consequences.

"Silly rap videos?"

"SILLY RAP VIDEOS?!?"

The fiend!

Do I even need a SARCASM CLARIFICATION?
Another notable thing about Zohran Mamdani: those billionaires surely spent millions on opposition research to find dirt on him, and all they could come up with was that dumb Columbia application story and the fact that he made some kinda silly rap videos.

Guy seems pretty clean!

Speaking as an autistic millennial, the reason it's my favourite album of all time is, harmonies and all, it comes from a place of honesty, communication, and vulnerability that feels almost like a dying value today, especially when you consider how much of a mess the band's relationships were!
