#AvatarFireAndAsh The visuals and effects continue to impress, and some of the character dynamics and conflicts are surprisingly more nuanced, but the pacing is a major step backwards from The Way of Water, and the worldbuilding, especially the Mangkwan clan, feel more underdeveloped.

Final thought on this. Want to be clear, I don’t think anyone is wrong in this convo. Again, it’s a messy af situation. At the end of the day, I think we all should support BDS, be vocally supportive of Palestinians, give $ to orgs who tangibly help & try to do more to support as we’re able.
And to be clear, this isn’t me trying to say ppl shouldn’t boycott Netflix. I’m just saying that we’re all trying to navigate this messy af situation where capitalist complicity and media consumption is concerned. I try my best to support boycotts for Palestine & trans ppl (& others) as I can.

The great thing with podcasts was literally anyone could do them.
Which might mean you get a lot of crap (but hey it's free and no one's forcing you to listen), but also lots of niche stuff and a way for people to learn presenting and editing on the go.
