New Projector review! Guillermo del Toro has finally made his dream project Frankenstein, a bold, deeply personal interpretation of the Mary Shelley novel. I look at it's themes of fatherhood, and the surprising connections to Pinocchio, it's the most del Toro. 📽️ www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4bJ...
I think I just edited 22 minutes in a day.

Also, my Running Man review is the longest of the year.

Just thinking how frustrating it is that everything has been so crammed into releasing in November that the big films will trample each other, and the smaller films won't get seen. Especially after an October which was very quiet as the big films flopped.

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back

I think a big problem with The Running Man is that the vast majority of people think of the Arnie film than the actual Stephen King book it was based on.

Please continue making calls to Visa and Mastercard, because they are working alongside conservative legislators to crack down on free speech and expression!

A dual pronged offense requires a dual pronged defense!
#SaveSpeech

starting Nov 1st we're entering the holiday season, which is a big stress point for big businesses like Mastercard and Visa. These Paypros havent stopped cracking down on Adult Content, so we need to jump back into calling them in full force again!

That's a Mad Libs headline, surely?

(The behind-the-scenes story on this must be fascinating.)

ICYMI - My favourite - if not the absolute best - film I saw at #LFF. I know you can see it on Netflix, but see this in a cinema while you still can.

I think I will tell if I've lost touch as a YouTuber is if I ever refer to anything in the region of £300 as "affordable".

Started writing my Running Man script. I thought I had a lot to say, and given I'm at 2600 words and counting, I was right.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco's Horsemen are reunited with a new trio of young magicians in this overcrowded legacy sequel, that's more flashy preposterous nonsense. Rosamund Pike understands how ridiculous all this is and hams it up.

The Running Man (1987): Arnold Schwarzenegger competes in a deadly game show in this very loose adaptation of the Stephen King book. Wright's remake is the better film, this was flawed at the time and is quite dated now, but there's plenty of entertaining camp, and Richard Dawson steals it.
