Finished the script. Being ultra, ultra careful not to spoil anything, but still got to 2900 words.

They shot all of these back-to-back, didn't they? No idea why we needed three. And they've all been box office duds.

Not officially, but very similar premise, called Due Date.

Maybe I'm a bit sheltered in my circle, but "Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy in an Enid Blyton adaptation from the writer of Paddington" dropping a trailer seems like it should have got more attention.

Also, yes, that was a special PG-rated trailer for The Housemaid, but I didn't see much of it.

Trailers (came in late): The Housemaid, The Magic Faraway Tree, Zootropolis 2 (AKA Zootopia 2), Michael

The trailer for The Magic Faraway Tree was another surprise, presumably attached to UK runs of Wicked. Like Mother's Pride, also distributed by Entertainment, the trailer is not online yet.

If this is the kind of sure-fire flops we'll see from Paramount under new management, it'll probably be up for sale again in 3 to 5 years.

I was amused by the Variety article, that listed projects like "Taken with a dog"... so Muzzle, the Aaron Eckhart movie with that went VOD.

I liked the original as a kid, but Rush Hour 3 was nearly 20 years ago, and it was also a pile of shit. No one wants this apart from one very old man. If it doesn't rot in development hell, it will be released to apathy, if not abject disdain.

From the interview, she didn't. She was invited on the set of Fierce Creatures, missed her, and wrote her a letter. She got a response, but she died days later. Curtis broke down in tears telling this story.
