Monster romances have taken the world by storm, but a number of grifters point to them as proof of our society's collapse.

Are they right?

I have also been informed that multiple collaborators of mine have received messages telling them that I am a secret bigot and transphobe.

I have weird haters.

I have been getting a lot of bizarre messages recently about people stunned by me criticizing people who defend ICE.

I want to know, is anyone shocked that I oppose ICE or support left-wing causes? Because I need to know if I didn't make myself clear or if people weren't paying attention.

That's what made Twitter a living nightmare, even *before* Elon Musk bought the site (and somehow made it worse).

Having a silly, yet innocuous, take on a movie or showing some vulnerability could make you a target for a mob of petty dickheads rationalizing such cruelty as being "deserved."
The older I get, the more sympathy I have for people who got hated for making weird but ultimately harmless art or acted cringe when put under pressure...

This is the type of shit I’m taking about.

So I wanna know what’s more important: going after people who are strange but harmless? Or going after people who prey on individuals and take advantage of them?

My general rule of thumb for most internet drama these days is "is this person doing direct harm? cause if not, i really have more important things to spend my limited mental stamina on"

Most drama I see on social media, are such nothingburgers that would better be resolved by just quietly blocking

When you take a moment and step back, the majority of online drama are actually nothing burgers. Yes, there are times when behaviors can be off by those called out, but the standard of what geting public scrutiny on social media is much lower than what should be considered acceptable.

Too many get on Mr. Enter’s case for being slightly rude to someone for pinging him on Discord and people act as if he committed crimes against humanity.

I’ve seen more people getting mad at him over this fucking nothing burger than someone like Star Giant Productions who are actively dangerous.
