It always amazes me how some people will call themselves artists, but seem to spend most of their energy beefing online with others.
Like, I don’t mean this as an attack, but it does make me wonder how much time is actually going into making of the art itself, and how accurate that label is 🤔

HC didn't need the cosmic horror of an AI or dyson spheres. It started with "Is the moon looking a little big?" and spiraled into months of moon related chaos. Blocks were flying. Gravity was weird. Everyone tried their best to stop it. Nobody was successful. The moon crashed.
It was poetry.

Honestly, if he'd just spent the last few years online just talking about the showrunning process/making cartoons, even if they were slightly religious, I don't think people would've had a problem with him.

If you are anxious and sad about the state of the world, that's fine, and there are plenty of strategies for dealing with that. But I think you already know that drive-by online dooming isn't a strategy. It's selfish and adolescent. It's a contagion that only spreads the worst of you, not the best.

I would really caution anyone against implying that paywalling this feature is a legitimate response to public outcry. The paywall is an endorsement, not a restriction. Musk is saying "this thing you're all talking about is valuable. Pay me for it." The actual material effect is just monetization.
