No right-wing populists definitely blame Jews for this
That is not what right-wing populists say! They blame various out groups for lots of things, but "wealth inequality" is not one of them because they don't care about that, it is not what's driving them, and it is not what they are claiming to solve. That's your issue. People can have other concerns.
We can't fall into right-wing populism’s lie that the most vulnerable in society are to blame for wealth inequality in our countries. We need to build movements that tell the truth: the story of wealth inequality is not a cultural one, but a class one.

For me this is very simple.

There is widespread, longstanding practice of using "Zionists" as coded slur for Jews, or "Jews I don't like" (regardless how they define themselves).

That is sufficient reason to refrain from broad-brush language such as "Zionism=Racism" or "Zionists not welcome".
Here is an explanation on why Jewish Greens (who obviously don't speak for every single Jewish person in the party, etc) are so opposed to the Zionism is Racism motion brought to the #GreenParty's spring conference.

Why Jewish Greens are urging party members to vote against MOTION A105: ZIONISM IS RACISM - Jewish Greens
Jewish Greens oppose motion at party conference unintentionally antisemitic

This is not an area where AOC agrees with JD Vance and Josh Hawley what the fuck are you talking about
"The Ascent of populist movements is telling us that governments have have strayed too far from being responsive to the working class"

This is probably the only area where AOC agrees with JD Vance and Josh Hawley.

America’s elites are self-loathing and insecure cosmopolitans who love to see their views reflected in someone who codes as more “authentic” then them, many such cases.
There is a Kinda Guy that is absolutely gaga for Gruff-Aesthetic White Guy Who Says Kinda Lefty Things. Their love for this is *not* strategic or instrumental to some end, such a person is an object of intrinsic attraction to them, and a strong one at that. They will rationalise anything for this.
I also am baffled that people are assuming this super checkered barely known guy will be super progressive as though we're not living in a post Fetterman universe.

from a measurement POV, the party trust Q has little direct bearing on issue positions/policy preferences. party trust can be low for a variety of non-ideological reasons, like past history of leadership or message clarity. Dems have work to do, but this Q doesn’t tell us what

There are fundamentally two Americas: the Union and the Confederacy. Our current struggle is about which we choose to be.
The answer is they don’t like the US, they like the Confederacy. Explicit, codified, unashamed racism ruled by oligarchic elites. Strict social codes and mores that buttress the entire thing who themselves were built on misremembered imagined histories.

i’ll end this little brainstorm by just asking what it is, exactly, that the MAGA right likes about the United States, since it explicitly rejects those things that make this nation distinctive — its pluralism, its revolutionary heritage and egalitarian aspirations, and its republican institutions

they‘re rabid dogs
Between this and the story about the ice agents who ate at a Mexican restaurant and then arrested some of its workers when they were done, it's a reminder that these people reject even the most basic social agreements of hospitality and of helping others. They're sociopaths.
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

Actually they're doing all this so they can get up tomorrow and order Jose from Guatemala around.
Your average rural 50 y/o farmer or horse trainer isn’t on Bluesky seeking the opinions of enlightened liberals.

They’re watching football and 70’s/80’s reruns on TV and getting shitfaced so they can face another day of manual labor tomorrow.

Damn, I don’t think you could write something more contemptuous and inaccurate about farming in America if you tried. Have you been to a farm recently? That shits all automated and they’re heavily subsidized by the Feds. You’re making up a subsistence farmer to get mad at. Weird stuff.

The one reason I'm somewhat worried about an AOC presidential run is that the levels of Gender that would result are possibly cataclysmic.
“AOC needs to publicly commit to hard military action in Taiwan and the fact she has refused to do so shows she’s fundamentally unserious” that’s crazy man anyway quick question what is the policy of strategic uncertainty again and who else is guilty of it

RE: Taiwan, I think "We should just give them 100 nukes and submarines to match and then tell them we aren't going to be kinetically involved" is honestly a pretty compelling idea.

I am really struggling to see what the problem is here and I think it might be that there’s a subset of people who are dangerously naive about how messy of a business international relations is. There isn’t one weird trick to make it not like that, and so many ways it can get worse.
