Like Minnesotans protesting and generally annoying the shit out of ICE is a highly effective form of resistance! Just look at the polling! Taking random potshots at Feds would probably have the opposite effect

There's too many primary school places in London for not enough kids. So schools are competing to stay alive, copying private school marketing tactics with Instagram ad campaigns — and in one case offering a £50 Amazon voucher referral scheme for parents. www.londoncentric.media/i/184437718/...
Amazon vouchers to fill school places
Plus: How engineers installed phone signal on the London Underground, how many freemasons can you fit in a police force, and the house with a swimming pool in the middle of the living room.

Great piece on pressures on European state pension schemes including this chart showing comparative cost now and projection to 2070. UK costs relatively low in comparison to most others www.ft.com/content/9c3c...

One thing that also makes this great is that the moment all the other drivers and pedestrians realize what you’re doing you can basically do whatever you want, they’ll block a major one-way so you can u-turn in it to zip behind an ICE convoy. Whole city is on the side of the observers. Fish sea etc.
You guys have no idea how good this car is for what we’re doing. You can lurk in alleys or behind parked SUVs. It drives like a go-cart. You’re three feet off the ground with exceptional visibility so I can pull snap u-turns or cut behind convoys

1) 82% of voters in the poll said that they had watched a video of the shooting.

"i serve the Lord, not a draft-dodging coward" is the kind of phrase that would be slightly cringe online and is incredibly badass when being stated by a man surrounded by armed men threatening to murder him
it's incredible how if you put this entire dialog into the Left Behind series, it would basically work, but instead it's just IRL MN

If the figures we're getting out of Iran are in the right league, this weekend was, I think, one of the bloodiest state crackdowns of all time. People are talking 12,000-20,000 dead; for comparison Hungary in 1956 was about 2,500, Tiananmen - across country, in multiple cities - probably 1000+

Don't bother arguing about whether ICE is a police force or a military force. It's neither. It behaves as a disorganized, violent mob, cursing, shouting contradictory orders, and attacking unarmed citizens on a whim. It is deployed to create fear and chaos, not to enforce laws or establish order.

These two are the crackpots currently demanding senior police resign for being in cahoots with radical Islamists. The guy on the left was one of the key figures in an absurd all-channels national panic about The Muslims taking over jihadifying schools. Do we see what is happening here?

Democrats need to realize ICE isn’t just—or even primarily—a mass deportation force.

ICE is also Trump’s most loyal internal security force which will be used to attack regime opponents and try to steal the election. They should defund his authoritarian capabilities.

I think an awful lot of America's current predicament can be understood (at least in part) through the lens of Vietnam. The current divide in America is basically the divide over the war, and it's really under appreciated that the brutality we see is in many ways a product of that too.

I do not even really dispute the idea that an election in which healthcare was the only issue under contention would be better for Democrats, I just think that was always obviously impossible. The enemy gets a vote, and you go to war with the coalition you have, not the one you want.

People sort of seem to overlook this but Jacob Frey keeps making these appearances where he denounces ICE as thugs and the Minneapolis chief is sitting right next to him. Surely not an accident! “They are not like the normal police” is a vital message to be encouraged
acab obviously but isolating ice, making them a pariah in the eyes of other law enforcement, is essential to abolishment
Philadelphia sheriff Rochelle Bilal:

“No law enforcement professional wears a mask…No law enforcement professional shoots at a moving vehicle.

“What Trump’s private army is doing…is not only against legal law, but moral law.”

Vows to arrest agents on site who commit crimes.

the best antidote to blackpilling is remembering that every video you see of an ICE thug abusing their power was recorded by an American who volunteered to put themselves in harm's way for the sake of people they've likely never met and never will
/2 In light of that, I am in awe and deep respect of the people who are still showing up to monitor the ICE Gestapo, protect and defend their neighbors, do whatever they can to hold ICE to account and call out their lawlessness. What incredible bravery.
