ive found this to also be a learning disability thing as well. [ask question] -> 'you seriously have trouble with that?' / 'are you joking?' / 'i already went over this, are you even listening?' -> [ok then i wont ask questions] -> [errors] -> 'why didn't you ask for help?'
I think a lot of the neurodivergent experience is being punished for asking questions so we instead decide to infer meanings and intentions and patterns based on context and cues, but because we're neurotypical, that process is extremely prone to error. so we get punished for it anyway later.
