The only difference I can genuinely think of that makes cheating "worse" is the chance to spread STDs without your partner knowing. But like if your partner is shooting up with re-used needles without you knowing, no ones like "WE NEED TO KILL THEM!".

And not saying that all cheating is justified or that it doesn't SUCK to have happen to you, but like. IDK. People get so weird about it and will jump to "this person literally deserves to be killed" when its like. not that much different from violating any other form of trust you have?

Yeah maybe I'm biased as a cheater, but I was in a really bad relationship that i tried multiple times to escape and cheating with my (now) husband was probably the only thing that kept me alive. lmao.
