What is so crazy is the datacenters being built for the revolution DO NOT exist yet

They are racing to build these things and there is no demand on the other side.
JP Morgan analysts calculated "AI products would have to create an additional $650 billion a year, indefinitely, to give investors a reasonable 10% annual return. That’s more than 150% of Apple’s yearly revenue, and a far cry from OpenAI’s current revenue of about $20 billion a year." (🎁)

The crisis of elite impunity that is ruining our society cannot be more clearly or convincingly demonstrated than with the fact that all of these people wrote all this stuff into an email and hit Send.

What do we make of this email, sent from Epstein to himself a week before he was arrested with the subject line “List for Bannon Steve” with just a list of names.

Republicans will always help each other
Robert Mueller made Trump's finances off limits.
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

All the "serious journalists" who defended Haberman made me sick. It's just a clubhouse. They see no sense of public responsibility.
About the same time the NYT sat on a scoop tying Trump to Epstein, Maggie Haberman was downright giddy (y'all) about NYT promoting an anti-Hillary Clinton book.

Another thing this email trove has convinced me of is that NYT has been actively and consciously helping Trump since 2015. It wasn't just casual sexism, double standards, and political reporting Kayfabe. They were doing catch and kill

Landon Thomas Jr of the New York Times got told by Jeffrey Epstein that Trump walked into a glass door bc he was so busy staring at girls in Epstein's house and didn't print it. wild that the Times didn't consider that newsworthy.

People have agency!

People matter!

Politics is not a passive thing with just the tides coming in and out.

Get rid of the old lazy fools!
it is fucking infuriating to think how one different staffing choice, someone like Doug Jones, could have made all the difference in the world

One of the GOP's sweatier Epstein defenses has been "if they had good stuff they'd have used it when Biden was president." But the growing awareness that Garland spiked anything that could look political explains this!
I feel like “mad at Merrick Garland” is going to hit a whole new level.

I will accept all apologies on my take that Merrick Garland is one of the weakest most cowardly human beings ever born and should be forced to commit seppuku
i gotta say tho if it turns out the biden/garland doj was sitting on damning evidence that trump fucked kids on pedo island, i’m gonna be real mad that it never leaked
