you don't have an industry if businesses keep having to lay off workers when their product doesn't hit the big time, you have a casino
Wildlight (Highguard) lays off staff according to a LinkedIn post

"Unfortunately, along with most of the team at Wildlight, I was laid off today.

This one really stings as there was a lot of unreleased content I was really looking forward to that I and others designed for Highguard."

The whole point of notepad is that it loads in 0.3 seconds and lets you read and write plain text. Literally anything added beyond this feature set is worthless garbage.
The AI features added to Notepad created a critical exploit vulnerable to loading a compromised txt file.

The fix is part of Patch Tuesday, so update your systems.

AI is not a feature I ever desired in Notepad. I should look into some alternatives...
AI-upgraded Notepad now exposes Windows users to critical exploit
A critical remote code execution vulnerability found in the AI-upgraded Windows 11 Notepad has fueled renewed criticism of Microsoft's forced AI feature creep.

Idk man, Reservoir Dogs? Hard Boiled? Mulholland Dr?
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

Every Super Bowl ad is for the door in the forest. It’s annoying. “You must walk through the door.” Yeah thanks, I know that already. I dream of the door every night

This guy has "destroy the fascists" in his bio and, well
Are you joking? People can’t get any form of justice right now - have you seen the backlog? I’m ok with a rapist being sent to jail without a jury - frankly with modern forensics it’s quite often a huge way of delaying justice.

He’s not attacking minorities ffs.

This is the scene I was at this morning. I know Minnesotans filming ICE in their bathrobes is becoming a bit of a thing, but after you laugh, let it dawn on you that people here hate ICE so much that we rush out half-dressed to film even when there are already dozens of others doing the same thing.

Starmer was mid changegooning when a group of Foids came and spiked his Cortisol levels 😭

Is Ignoring the Foids while paedophile defending and mogging Moids more useful then Reform chadfishing in 10 Downing Street?

Experiments with my mother putting her hands in front of my eyes are producing fascinating results - and raising questions about the nature of selfhood. Where does she go when she disappears? Was she ever truly there? Or is it me who disappears?

Pop quiz question, no googling:
Who wrote and directed "The Cube", about a man who wakes up in a mysterious cube shaped room, not knowing why or how he got there, and tries to find a way to escape?

I think "Freddy Got Fingered" has artistic value. I didn't enjoy the movie like I would a regular comedy but watching a purely unfiltered vision of someone like Tom Green with no regard for marketability, conventions, or other 2001 versions of "the algorithm" is one unique experience.
