I go to the Animal Humane Society, sit in a chair, listen to audio books, and put labels on bags for cat and dog food. It's cushy, and apparently, it helps out.
If anyone's open to a New Year's resolution suggestion, please try volunteering for a non-profit! It doesn't necessarily mean showing up in person to do physical labor. Just think about a cause that is important to you and consider what skills you have. 🧵

As a person who doesn't enjoy loud parties or hours of fireworks, years ago I decided to stop going to New Year's Eve brouhahas and go to the movies. If I timed the showing right, I would miss all the fuss, and if I drove home carefully, I'd miss all the drunks.
