The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

They do not understand -- this weather only makes us stronger. They are locked up in here with us now.
Outside agitators? Please. You think anyone who didn’t live in Minnesota would be outside in this?

They are consistently proving our worst fears and suspicions. ICE is an irredeemable enterprise.

“ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

It's time for St. Paul to cancel school on Friday so we parents can make some freaking plans. Whether it's for the strike or because it's going to be actually really unsafely cold, let's get on with it!

ICE agents will come to the school patrol asking who the organizers are believing they’re like Soros shadow figures, and it’s like a bespectacled software engineer who didn’t know the names of more than 5 parents two weeks ago.

I love that the country is inspired by MN. That’s great. Stop telling me that. We get it.

Tell us what you’re doing to help.

Are you organizing your community?
Sending us lawyers?
Pressuring your reps?
Boycotting? Who and how?
Donating to our very public mutual aid efforts?

HELP US.

I have been told that this undercover ICE agent tried to get observers to scan a QR code “for his website”. The QR code did not resolve to a link.

DO NOT SCAN UNKNOWN QR CODES FROM STRANGERS.

This is a massive security risk! Bad things can happen to you if you do it!

Stay frosty, friends.
Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

i personally think “don’t fund the gestapo” is a relatively small ask in the face of an illegal violent occupation of a US city that has killed at least one citizen and terrorized countless more. any elected who cannot clear even that modest bar is dead to me

This is CRITICAL. I know you’re all putting your back into mutual aid & a thousand other great things, but if there’s anything left here, so many folks depend on these front-line lawyers right now.
I spoke to a friend on the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota board. They need financial donations to keep up with the heightened demand for their services: www.ilcm.org
