For ICE to do this on Christmas Eve—especially as part of an administration that postures as godly—is particularly cruel. trib.al/cwPyyTv

America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

DHH church has been doing amazing work for Minneapolis area families impacted by 🧊

There is a red banner at the top of their website www.dhhmn.com where you can easily contribute

(They seem to be at capacity on the phones with getting families signed up to receive food.)

Calling on every malevolent spirit around to pay a visit to the federal agents planning to tear apart families.

Haunt them.

Terrorize their thoughts.

Their conscience isn’t strong enough to change their actions, so help them get there.

Most effective ad on me these days is any company loudly and clearly denouncing ICE.

It’s Day 20 of the ICE occupation of the Twin Cities.

Today, as rumors continue to swirl about a major ICE surge in the Twin Cities, we are reminded of the power of community.

Keep your whistle with you, and be ready to step up at any time. We know that ICE flees at the first sign of resistance.

I love Minneapolis. And I love the delicious food I got from Marsu after the march.
It's Day 19 of the ICE occupation of MSP.

Today thousands of Minnesotans poured onto Lake Street to rally in support of our immigrant neighbors and against ICE.

Take a moment to look at this crowd of you and your neighbors rallying in below zero windchill.

It is cold and windy and we have easily >1000 people out for the ICE OUT rally.

My teenage nephew has requested papers piano music for Christmas and I deeply want to not mess this up. But where oh where do I get it?

Any clarinet players need an emergency kit? I ordered some replacement needles for my turntables and hey sent the wrong item. The guy on the phone chuckled and said I’m free to do whatever I want with them.

I am utterly exhausted after two weeks of resisting ICE. But hopeful. It is so beautiful to see our communities get organized. If you haven’t found a group and you are in the twin cities DM me. We need alls sorts of help from admin/coordinating, to delivering groceries.

Minneapolis! I would like simple stud earrings. Sterling or niobium. Haven’t found a local artist. Haven’t seen them in stores.

Are you that local artist? Do you know them? Help me spend my money locally. Siiiiimple. Boring. Stud. Earrings.
Please and thank you.

The continued attacks on our trans neighbors 🏳️‍⚧️ is disheartening and despicable. Our trans community doesn’t deserves this hate. 💔
The House passed legislation today that would charge doctors with a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison for providing transition-related care to minors.

Rep. Sarah McBride strongly condemned the legislation in rare personal remarks ahead of the vote.

My kids are starting daycare. The teachers are spectacular, but they don’t like going because it’s different. They keep asking me “will you come back at the end of the day?” And I know that I will and I can’t possibly think of my family in that moment and it is breaking me.

Fuck ICE.

I really love the people of Minneapolis and how we’re all showing love for each other right now.

I notice dem senators being disappointingly terrible (again). I’m angry about that too.

AND

I notice my community being amazing. Supporting, protecting, feeding, nurturing. Get out of your house. Go make some friends. Be astonished how cool people are and what beautiful things they are doing.

@klobuchar.senate.gov what the fuck is wrong with you actually, I’ll forever laugh at the story of my ex’s shitty mother getting you to cry over bringing up that your kids didn’t attend public school in MN years when she ran against you. Congrats on being in alliance with that Trumper now, I guess.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Disheartening to see federal agents take two neighbors on 29th & Pillsbury. Chemical irritants were used on observers by them.

MPD showed up on scene, created a pathway for these federal agents to kidnap our neighbors, and assisted with controlling the space. Disappointing and heartbreaking.

A deeply sad morning, with heartbreaking mass killings in Providence & Sydney.

Innocent students killed in a classroom. At least 11 people by gunmen at a Hanukkah celebration.

Too many guns here. Frightening levels of antisemitism globally. So much senseless violence & hate.
