Trump promised to lower costs on Day 1.

Instead, utility costs are rising while temperatures are falling, leaving more Americans facing even higher bills.

Families shouldn’t have to choose between keeping the heat on and putting food on the table.

New analysis shows more US consumers are falling behind on their utility bills

At the Vatican, I joined a Ukrainian delegation working to return tens of thousands of Ukrainian children taken from their families by Russian forces. I joined these brave parents and children to meet with Pope Leo XIV about efforts to bring these kids home.

At the Vatican, I presented Pope Leo XIV with a Senate resolution honoring the victims and survivors of the mass shooting at the Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis.

We pray for those we lost, the recovering survivors, and the entire Annunciation community.

It was an honor to meet Pope Leo XIV, a true moral force for peace and justice.

I joined a Ukrainian delegation to speak to him about the Russian abduction of Ukrainian kids.

Any path towards peace must start with returning the kidnapped children.

At the Vatican today to meet with Pope Leo XIV to discuss the horror of Ukrainian kids kidnapped by Russia. Will also be joined by Ukrainian families who have experienced this firsthand.

The Pope understands that we cannot accept a world where children are used as pawns of war.

When the SS Edmund Fitzgerald tragically sunk in 1975, investigations by the Coast Guard led to major changes to improve the safety of Great Lakes shipping.

50 years later, we remain grateful for the work of our Coast Guard heroes who are always ready when disaster strikes.

These tax credits are pro-family, pro-small business, and pro-American.

President Trump has made it clear: he's leaving working people in the dust.

Farmers are being hurt from all sides—skyrocketing health care premiums, rising input costs, and extreme weather – all at once.

We need to work to address one of these problems by extending the health care tax credits so thousands of family farms don’t suffer.

Farmers Face Prospect of Skyrocketing Healthcare Premiums
More than a quarter of U.S. farmers rely on the Affordable Care Act, but despite the government shutdown, tax credits are set to expire.

It’s about time corporate landlords are held accountable for using algorithms to price-gouge renters.

Tech like AI should be used to drive prices down, not help corporations collude to charge you more.

I’ll keep working to make housing more affordable.
It’s hard to afford your life when your landlord is illegally coordinating with their rivals to keep your rent as high as possible.

I will keep fighting to end these unjust practices and to make the market fairer for renters.

This unlawful Executive Order would attack states for enacting AI guardrails that protect consumers, children, and creators—including by threatening high-speed internet for rural communities.

This was already rejected by the Senate 99 to 1, and it must be rejected again.
Breaking news: The Trump administration is drafting an executive order that would direct the Justice Department to sue states that pass laws regulating artificial intelligence, according to a copy reviewed by The Post.
White House drafts order directing Justice Department to sue states that pass AI regulations
The draft order comes after Republicans in Congress failed to pass a federal ban on state AI regulation, as more lawmakers raise concerns about the technology.

Trump does not trump the Constitution.

While he threatens the rule of law, takes health care away from Americans, and raises costs, we need to focus on fighting back in the Courts, in Congress, and at the ballot box.

As @mnfarmersunion.bsky.social’s Anne Schwageral said, “It’s tough to run an operating note for 2026 on a hope and a prayer.”

We need to reverse the administration’s reckless tariffs and provide our family farmers with the certainty and support they need.

For Newark’s University Hospital, GOP Medicaid cuts will spread already tight budgets even thinner.

This will strain hospital staff. It will close support programs. Your care will suffer.

All to keep billionaires from paying their fair share of taxes.

Trump lies with reckless abandon, but Americans are smart enough to know the truth… he’s focused more on enriching himself than bringing down prices for Americans… and we’re all stuck with higher costs for groceries, utilities, and housing as a result.

Trump ordered the Justice Department to investigate his political opponents while protecting and rewarding his friends.

The Justice Department is supposed to work for the American people—not be the president’s personal law firm.

I’ve got a better idea than an $8,000 camp… finally pass some laws to make Big Tech take responsibility for protecting children online.

News from Senate floor: Schumer just asked for unanimous consent to pass Epstein file bill which overwhelmingly passed House.

No objection! So long as Johnson sends it over to Senate it is done and on to White House. On to you Trump and DOJ.

No more excuses. Senate Republicans must allow a vote and the President should sign this into law.
The House has passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

This ruling makes clear our laws aren't keeping pace with technology and we must pass my bipartisan bill to take on tech monopolies, return competition to digital markets, and protect consumers.

Now, there are no more excuses for not passing pro-competition legislation.

Donald Trump repeatedly told us that his tariffs would not increase prices for consumers.

So why on Earth is he lowering his tariffs on various foods?

Duh, because his tariffs raised prices.

Just another day with Don the Con.

The rollback of import taxes on coffee, bananas and many other foods is the latest sign that the administration could be forced to shift course.

After the House vote today, the Senate needs to act.

It’s time to release the files.
