We have a housing crisis in this country, and we need A New Way Home.

Here’s a look at my 5-pillar plan to leverage new and existing policy tools to make sure everyone in our communities has a safe, affordable place to call home.

The White House may have a new gilded ballroom and a new marble bathroom, but hardworking Americans are struggling to afford housing.

It's time for the federal government to get off the sidelines when it comes to solving our housing crisis.
New foreclosures jump 20% in October, a sign of more distress in the housing market
All phases of the foreclosure process are seeing big increases, as homeowners fall behind on mortgage payments due to stress in the economy.

It’s clear President Trump’s involvement with Jeffrey Epstein is more than he wants us to know.

The answer is simple: release the Epstein files. The American people deserve answers.

I’m more focused than ever on holding Republicans accountable for the health care crisis they created.

They have 2 months to keep costs down for millions of Americans.

If they don't, the American people will know who’s responsible.

I didn’t vote for this deal. But where do we go from here?

I know there are House members from both parties who want to keep our health care crisis from getting worse.

It’s on Speaker Johnson to hold a vote, restore these tax credits, and bring down costs.

A 50-year mortgage just shows how shortsighted this administration is.

For a slightly lower monthly payment, you end up paying WAY more interest in the long term.

We need to pass real solutions to bring down housing costs- not just move costs around to benefit big banks.

May we all take today as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and express our gratitude to those who have served in uniform to defend our country.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and blessed Veterans Day this year.

Let Me Be Blunt: promises won’t bring premiums down.

The government funding deal that just passed the Senate simply isn’t good enough.

But this fight isn’t over.

The president is willing to try everything - including unproven strategies that undercut Americans’ bargaining power - to avoid extending tax credits that we KNOW will bring premiums down.

It’s time for Republicans to get serious about addressing this health care crisis.

It’s unconscionable how hard this administration would fight the court to deny people access to nutritious foods.

But as they leave Americans behind, many of our states are stepping up to fill the gap.

That’s why I introduced the SNAP Back Act— to repay states that do the right thing.

It's unbelievable how hard this administration is fighting to keep millions of Americans hungry.

The only path forward is a deal that protects peoples' health insurance. Trump just needs to get involved in the art of this deal.

Today's Democratic proposal reopens the government, provides immediate relief to millions of Americans whose health care premiums are about to skyrocket, and creates a pathway towards a long-term solution for the tax credits that are critical to health care affordability.

It’s unbelievable that we’re in the longest shutdown in HISTORY… and Donald Trump is still too scared of Democrats to work out a deal and prevent huge premium increases for millions.

This plan is plain and simple: reopen the government, and extend the ACA tax credits as-is for 1 year so families don't have to suffer while we work to negotiate long-term fixes.

We have the chance to make a real impact— I hope my Republican colleagues will join us.

People are already feeling the pain of higher grocery bills, housing costs, and energy costs— they can't afford the cost of health care skyrocketing even further.

They thought Trump's 'Golden Age' meant affordable gold plans, but all they got was an outrageous golden ballroom.
November 7, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Trump knows Republicans own this shutdown and its impacts on the American people.

We all know this needs to end.

It’s time for him to bring his party to the table so we can fix the health care crisis they created and reopen the government.
November 7, 2025 at 4:07 PM
From collapsing people to a collapsing economy, President Trump's reaction has been about the same.
November 6, 2025 at 9:50 PM
What on earth?

You don't need an ID to buy groceries or gas, and every state verifies the identity of its voters.

The 'voter ID laws' he's talking about are meant to intimidate and shut people out of our Democratic process— of course we're not just going to let it happen.
Trump: "All we want is voter ID. You go to a grocery store, you have to give ID. You go to a gas station, you give ID. But for voting they want no voter ID. It's only for one reason: because they cheat."

During my time in the House, I came to know @pelosi.house.gov as a fierce leader and advocate for American families.

She led our caucus during some of the America's most challenging times, from the great recession to COVID-19, championing some of the most consequential legislation in...

This is rich coming from the man who has refused to call the House into session for over a month.
Johnson: Democrats have never been more afraid, at any point, than they are right now
November 5, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I wish this administration would focus on helping struggling Americans, but this isn't a good sign.
November 5, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Last night, Americans across the country made it clear: they want leaders who stand up to bullies, work to bring down costs, and fight to protect their access to health care.

@democrats.senate.gov are ready.
November 5, 2025 at 2:58 PM
The administration is only sending partial SNAP payments to families, causing headaches for states and stress for recipients.

Hunger is not a game.

They need to obey the court and send full payments out immediately.
November 4, 2025 at 4:32 PM
With open enrollment underway and premiums set to skyrocket, I met with health care advocates in Wilmington to discuss the impacts they're seeing in our state.

We must act to end this health care crisis, reform our insurance system, and lower costs.

Delawareans can't wait.
