A still underappreciate thing on this site in particular is what sort of effect an admin thats not just incapable of course correcting on the unpopular things theyre doing, but who think that doubling down on them in the face of public anger is their key to success will have on their midterm chances
when you read this it is very clear that Wiles thinks she is flexing the administration's muscle. relatedly, it is also very clear that the White House is completely delusional about its standing with the public. they are high on their own supply.

WOW; a DEEPLY corrupt move by the immigration courts; clear collaboration with Trump admin officials to produce a specific result with zero notice to the party and ALSO in a situation where the judge facially lacks jurisdiction; the judge had denied a motion to reopen and the case is on appeal.
Judge Xinis ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release in part bc ICE could not produce a final “order of removal” to deport him. So last night, they went out and got an immigration judge to issue one.
