Hey remember that time we tried to discourage framing discussions of rape as “imagine if this was your daughter/sister/mom”, on account of you shouldn’t need to be related to a human female to think about them as people?

Anyway, Megyn Kelly has a 14-year-old daughter
one can always count on megyn to find the most shopworn, repulsive take and and make it her own
in case you're wondering how the cope is going www.mediamatters.org/megyn-kelly/...

My father, watching this game, shaking his head in admiration: “Jason Campbell can just do no wrong.”
2004 - #3 Auburn held #8 Georgia scoreless until the final 3 minutes of the game, finishing with a 24-6 victory.

Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown combined for 260 yards and 2 TDs. Cadillac threw a TD to Anthony Mix.

Shout it from the rafters.
Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

there's a sense that conservatives want me to worry about which liberal elites might catch Epstein strays when in fact I am so married to this outcome that me and this outcome have a home in the suburbs and are expecting twins
All the Epstein emails are powerful elites saying shit like “Hello my friend the pedophile, i need your advice as a pedophile, what do you think about this other pedophile? Pedophilic Regards, your Friend ;)” and instead of swinging from a gibbet most of them are still writing op-eds against leftism

This is so friggin’ easy I can solve it for you right now (of course, I’ll need you to pay up commensurately!): The island explosion didn’t blow Bond up … it literally blew him OFF the island. He wakes up clutching at floating refuse, completely unaware of who he is & everything that happened to him
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Fun thing I learned about insurance companies when I worked for a law firm. When you represent them, they don’t pay the attorney’s rates. They tell the lawyer HOW MUCH they will pay. Much like they tell doctors and hospitals. The charge may be “X,” but the insurance company is only going to pay “Y.”
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Ken Burns drops some knowledge: "People always complain in our, in our divided, dialectical, preoccupied world that, you know, oh, you're taking away my history. No, we're not. We're just pulling back and we're just saying, there are a lot more people here than you think."

So let me get this straight — we’re removing monuments to American war heroes because they were Black … and reinstalling monuments to Confederate soldiers … people who took up arms against the U.S. to defend their claims of owning and subjugating other human beings … who also happened to be Black.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Doesn’t make any difference now, but I guess they are never going to call PI if Cam Coleman is the receiver getting absolutely mauled in the end zone. Every. Single. Time.

When Auburn was looking for answers, it betrayed its core values. It led to a disastrous five years that included Hugh Freeze's firing. In a cynical world, it's time for the Tigers to return to some o...

When you’re riding public transit you realize that what’s good for everybody is also good for you. If the bus runs faster, if the train is cleaner, if the AC works, we all benefit

when you’re driving a car, every other car on the road is your personal enemy
The Times parsed the vote using similar categories and again found that the single most determinative factor economic-like factor in the election was "commute by transit" vs "commute by car." It edged out renters vs. homeowners. There's still outstanding data but I expect these trends will hold.
