Saw this gorgeous gobbler just hanging out between Battery Park and the NYC Esplanade in 2010 on Memorial Day weekend. This bird was totally unbothered — as were the locals sunbathing near it. As an Alabamian, I’ve only ever seen wild turkeys booking it into the woods at the mere hint of humans.

Unfortunately I do not. We have a great little place in Birmingham called the Joyful Food Company that specializes in anti-allergen, gluten-free, non-processed fare, and they have bake-from-frozen gingerbread scones during the holidays!
