In honor of Larry Summers, I asked the female members of my college class (1987) to say if they had any experiences with sexual harassment by teachers/professors, back when this was tolerated as, I dunno, the cost of attending college, and OH MY GOD.

The U.S. government is now inarguably spreading medical disinformation that is going to kill babies preferentially.

Period.

This is an INTOLERABLE. UNPRECEDENTED. DANGEROUS. ATTACK. ON ALL OF US.

His worth is thought to be about 3 million.

Often 'net worth' guesses are wrong, because I have some famous friends and they've openly told me what they're worth versus what is reported. (It's generally haha so much lower, the inflation on that shit is amaziballs)

Let's pretend it is....
Multiple shows. MULTIPLE. SHOWS.
Reminder that this is a man who worked on 128 episodes of a very popular TV series, and he's got to sell off all of his shit just to afford cancer treatment.

SO, HOW IS THE AVERAGE PERSON SUPPOSED TO?

thrilled to report that if Pope Leo is ever canonized as a saint, his jerseys will indeed become second-degree relics, and I unironically hope I live to see this
Omg wait @clairewillett.bsky.social are all of the Pope’s jerseys relics now????
He's the sports jersey pope now. 1000 years from now historians will be going through the Vatican archives trying to figure out who the Charlotte Hornets were.

did you know we had ~80 huge sturgeon die this year (that we know of) in 2
BC rivers? These deaths occurred during the summer when the sockeye salmon were returning

sturgeon eat many salmon at once, and this may be overloading their metabolic capacity during hot summers 😱

One of the defining feelings in American life, for decades now, is elites doing plainly criminal shit and nothing at all happening as a result. It is deranging in a way that virtually nothing else is. Media fixates on perceived street lawlessness but shit like this matters much more in my opinion.

What the fuck? Why is BlueSky suspending political journalists? She’s said nothing incendiary. This is frightening, honestly. We came because it wasn’t Twitter and now it seems like it’s slowly but surely trying to turn itself into Twitter
