Teen couldn't go to school today because flu, strep, and COVID are running rampant in our area. 10% of students at her school were fully out sick yesterday and more went home throughout the day. Wondering what it could have been like if more people had continued masking seasonally (or at all 🫠)
Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.

Noticed that the credit card reader at the vet made an awful high-pitched sound and then tried to explain to the receptionist why I was listening to the cc reader and the more I tried to explain the more she responded like she did not believe me at all and was just humoring me. a+ peopling today

FB keeps showing me posts from groups where people submit photos and ask members to Photoshop people in/out of the photos. 90% of replies are "I fed this into AI, here you go!" Stop feeding AI data without consent, and start considering what a bad person might do with your cousin's/SIL's/ex's image!
This is a nuts story. An AI chatbot and image platform left millions of images exposed. They show what people are actually using the AI for: taking random women's yearbook, graduation, and social media photos and making super realistic hardcore porn with them

My jaw DROPPED
I got hooked on frozen Yachaejeon but they were a little pricey so I picked up pancake mix last week at Galleria to see if I could (semi)-DIY them. I can't believe how good they turned out with just bagged pre-cut broccoli coleslaw mix! Can't wait to make them with leftover roasted veg this winter
