Years before the baby shusher existed, I (briefly, for other reasons) nannied for a family who had DIYed a baby shusher by sitting in a circle with friends and making "shhh" sounds into an mp3 player/recorder. When one person ran out of breath they would pass to the next, etc. It was 10 minutes long

I stopped by Dollar tree to get an energy drink to get through the school pick-up and an awful lot of items were priced at $1.50 instead of $1.25... Probably doesn't mean anything about the state of the economy, right? 🙃
