I think this one was hired by the local downtown SID and not by Jersey City itself. It would be a reasonable solution vs relying on every building owner to do the right thing, which never happens.

DDOT continues to publish before/after analyses of safety projects. The numbers for the 9th street NW bike lanes suggest that we should be doing these projects everywhere we can. Crashes plummeted, pedestrian and bike traffic skyrocketed, and vehicle travel times dropped.

Cargo bikes are great because you can pick up bonus kids!
Today I got to bring @jamesthe500.bsky.social ‘s awesome kiddos (+ my 7yo) on our bike.
The speed bumps we went over on the route resulted in many giggles.
Riding together in a cargo bike is a great way for kids to make friends.
