👋 Hey bus riders!

NJ TRANSIT is testing two different e-ink screen solutions that could be used as information signs at bus stops in the future.

Both would display & announce real-time departure times & service alerts.

Your feedback would be appreciated—take a look🧵👇

👋 Stop by my table at Trenton Transit Center to say hi and share your feedback!

I’m easy to find—right next to the departure board in the concourse. I’ll be here until 10 AM.

🚆The rollout of new real-time departure signs continues on HBLR.

Installation is complete at Essex Street & underway at Bergenline Ave & Newport, where demand for better info has been strong since the disruptions last summer.

During installation, use the NJ TRANSIT app for scheduled departures.

🚌 New bus schedules, effective 1/10, are available with some adjustments driven by your comments.

For example, Route #021, often overcrowded, will get added trips, including during rush hour.

Service changes are challenging with a limited fleet, but your voice makes a difference.

I’ll admit, I tried it myself and I was not too good... Kudos to the engineers (and all the transit employees out there) — this work is anything but easy.

So you think you can operate a commuter train. It is pretty complicated.
Ever think you could do a better job operating a NJ Transit commuter train? This video game could provide an answer, but beware, these trains breakdown too.
