Good afternoon. MyBus is a real-time tool and only displays buses arriving within ~45 minutes. If a vehicle is too far away, it may not appear or show an real time departure time at your stop. The vehicle may have been misreporting as well but either way it is isn’t specific to Route #86.

5/5

🚐Access Link

Customer concerns per ridership fell another 10% in December after a 25% drop in November. Only Region 6 (Bergen, Passaic, Hudson) saw a slight increase, and booking process/monitoring was the only category that rose compared with November.

4/5

🚍Bus

The number of concerns per 10,000 bus passengers rose slightly in December (+2%), driven by more complaints in the Southern Division. Service-related and cleanliness concerns declined again, but increases in other categories offset these gains.

3/5

🚋Light Rail

For the first time in 2025—and as in Dec 2024—concerns per 10k riders fell below target. The new HBLR contractor cut some of the impact of services issues, while River Line & Newark LR stayed stable. Passenger communication concerns remained at a high level however.

2/5

🚆Rail

After a +28% spike in November from a rough slippery rail season, concerns per rider dropped just 14% in December amid continued service issues. Alongside mechanical problems, the CS team also noted higher overcrowding complaints.
