It's hard to overstate how big the end of the 100-ft rule is for New York.

It'll save $$$ for rate payers and it's a big step to decrease our reliance on fossil fuels. Huge kudos to Gov. Hochul and advocates who made this happen!

NJ saw big spikes in energy bills this past summer. What's the state of the grid in NJ, and what can we expect next summer?

RPA's Kyle Mason and Rob Freudenberg explain in the latest State of the Grid post:
The State of the Grid in New Jersey (2025)
The current state of the electrical grid in New Jersey is solid but inconsistent. It provides strong reliability in more populous areas and weaker reliability in less populous ones.
