this is my third post attempt. I tried to invoke history, international law, and nostalgia. none of it felt appropriate.
I'll just say that I've seen our government do this shit before. it's not just immoral, it's inevitably ineffective. there are no positive outcomes. bad times are upon us.

it's remarkable how such small acts of self care can dramatically improve your well-being. a quick shower. taking out the trash. clean sheets. a bit of lotion on the face.
it's also remarkable how little interest I have in actually doing any of these things.

when I was a wee teen I went into a rural gas station bathroom that was CLEARLY designed for one person, although it had a toilet and a urinal. I apologized profusely to the man utilizing the latter.
he replied "don't worry! it's a two-shooter!"
I'll never forget that until the day I die.

if you need to ask - no, you don't. if your setup brings you joy, you don't need to sink another $2k into hardware. if you want to get into such rarified air, take a step back and examine where your standards come from. most music comes from (objectively) shitty sources. and that's great.

my first exposure to Duckman was when [PARENTAL FIGURE] took my lil' sister and I to their friends (professional gambler) house, decorated with a bowl containing a large mountain of cocaine. after everyone passed out we dunked into the cable (which we didn't have) then BAM! Duckman! blew my mind.

I grew up in a (then) "small town" and ended up in Montana. a place that's, apparently, wildly unpopular.
I've lived in this house for five years and could not tell you my neighbors first names with a gun to my head.
I fucking love it.
Keep seeing this on Reddit so, where would you live?
