When ICE takes videos of protestors & says "We have a nice little database. Now you're considered a domestic terrorist."

Minneapolis replies: "Hey asshole, you're going to need a bigger fucking database."

A reminder that ICE hasn’t slowed down in Minneapolis at all.

Outside of Minnesota, it might feel like everything has changed since Alex Pretti’s murder. But ICE hasn’t actually lost any power and they’re continuing to terrorize our communities.

Resharing this request: I have a good Spanish-language video, but am still looking for relatively short MN-specific “Know your rights” videos in Somali and Hmong
I'm looking for videos that explain MN-specific, know your rights information in Spanish, Somali, and Hmong. Does anyone have good, vetted videos?

it's this, y'all 👇🏼 they absolutely want someone to get got as cover for unleashing even more terror and violence on citizens
If they send them to Philly next it's because Miller thinks that's where it's most likely an ICE or CBP agent will get killed. He's going to keep trying to manufacture Horst Wessels until one of them sticks.
imgaine getting sent packing with your ass in your own two hands by some of the nicest people in the world and then showing up in a city that is famous for booing santa claus

As we grieve for Alex Pretti and Renee Good in MN, please do not forget Victor Manuel Diaz, who died in ICE custody after being taken from here. And all others who have died in their custody.
36-year-old Nicaraguan national Victor Manuel Diaz died in ICE custody on Jan. 14 at Camp East Montana in El Paso.

The Texas Nicaraguan Community on FB reports that his mom last heard from him on Jan. 6, when he told her he was planning to go to Minneapolis to start work in a restaurant. 1/3

My Huong Kitchen was already one of my favorite restaurants. Once I went and the owner gave us a few bean seedling to plant in our garden, another time she gave us mint and basil cuttings that rooted and I planted.
This summer, my family went to My Huong Kitchen on Eat Street and my toddler grandson couldn’t have been treated better by the proprietor. Yesterday, she displayed all her humanity provided refuge and car to teargas victims. youtube.com/shorts/XxFvg... Give her your business! myhuongkitchen.com

It's negative -25°F and tears are dangerous.

This rings so true for me especially these last few weeks. Days when I’ve found even one or two small things to do, I’ve felt far less exhausted.
This is such valuable advice and put plainly. Please take a moment.

It's 21° in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway, & 31° in Utqiaġvik (northernmost US city) and -20 in Minneapolis right now, in case you're wondering where the Arctic weather is right now.

The arctic weather is covering MN & other Canadian border states & so much of Canada.

Stay warm, folks!

This was a thread I needed to read. Maybe you do, too
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

Did they not think some Americans might have a similar attachment to their friends and neighbors?
