It started in May, leading to a series of small battles between strikers and police. The two sides agreed to a contract on May 25.

I'm glad my colleagues Council Members Rainville and Shaffer changed their votes to support small business funding due to public pressure over the last 48 hours. Undoing the trauma and economic damage of ICE's occupation will be a key task for City Council for the coming weeks, months and years.
