The upper part of the K-shaped economy is probably overextended but I do think the “premium cabin economy” is here to stay and probably gets more elaborate over time, similar to Harvard going from a 10-12% acceptance rate to a 3-4% acceptance rate.

The attitude people have towards stocks now is so different than it was in the early 2010’s (when stocks were cheap). $MSFT had an ex-cash P/E ratio of 7-8x in 2011. Today you see people posting “Since stocks return 10%/year here’s how much you’ll have in 20 years.”
