This is extremely unfair, the typical medieval inquisitor had significantly higher literacy and evidentiary standards than the typical Bluesky user
This site is absolutely chock full of people who have the precise sort of middling intelligence and mindless zealotry that the witch trials were started by and it probably cuts into your circle

Increasingly coming around to the idea that somebody in the 45 admin either had Epstein murked in jail or was so worried somebody else did it without their knowledge they preemptively covered it up anyways

Top 3 users are probably SIG Jane CitSec in that order so it's kind of surprising they don't make up more.
Bank of America: the top 30 customers could be making up ~35% of total volume on Kalshi so far in 2026

(I get that the 80/20 rule is a thing, but still unsettling to see it be this extreme and apply to zero/negative sum outcome biz)

It is interesting that the battle lines on RTO X AI have fallen very unnaturally, I would have expected more fully in the office, anti-AI companies (we must develop real junior skills) and more fully remote AI native companies (which I guess you have in tech but not in finance so much)

Charleston has bad vibes in part because South Carolina has uniquely Hitlerian whites even in comparison to every other Southern state. I think it’s the combination of not having any real metro areas + richer than AL/MS + migration filtering.
I've been to lots of cities around the world and the most "haunted by the spectres of their pasts" vibes I've gotten were in Phnom Penh (where you can still see ex-Khmer Rouge hanging out) and Charleston, where it feels like slavery's evils are in every single cobblestone and grand old structure

Things must be real fucking dire for OAI if the best biotech collab they could get was with Ginkgo.

Crazy story: A bank analyst published a report showing Kalshi users lose money even faster than sports gamblers, so Kalshi first tried to pressure the data provider to change their data and then accused them and the analyst of conspiring to extort them when that doesn’t work.

In light of recent news, I'd just like to point out that "orbital data centers hosting insane AIs worshipped as gods by the post-apocalyptic remnants of humanity" is one of the hooks to the (excellent) Anomalous Subsurface Environment tabletop setting.

We only want the good immigrants who study hard and don't commit crimes, unless they try to take little Brayleigh's (28 ACT, 1350 SAT) God-given slot at an Ivy away by being smarter, in which case Korematsu didn't go far enough

Frankly at this point, if you aren’t at most two degrees of separation from Jeffrey Epstein, are you even in the game?

Market internals are incredibly poor considering we are less than 1% away from all-time index highs and VIX at 17. Massive round-tripping earnings volatility, huge dollar moves, dispersion creeping up in megacaps, giant leveraged unwinds in metals on no news.
