Over the past month, DHS has used contract modifications to quietly double the value of this no-bid award. Taxpayers, we've spent over $2.2 million on graphic wraps for ICE vehicles.

Source: www.usaspending.gov/award/CONT_A...
A no-bid award of $1,158,404 for upfitting and graphic wrap design/application for 20 ICE vehicles.

To a company called Castle Hill Partners, Inc.

Sounds totally normal.

LIS Solutions is an assumed name of Legal Interpreting Service, Inc. Historically, the company provided translation and interpretation services to DHS, but it looks like they've pivoted to helping ICE track down immigrants.

ICE announced today that it has exceeded its hiring goals, more than doubling its personnel in recent months.

So why is the agency planning to spend another $100 million on a recruitment push targeting gun shows, colleges, Nascar races, and military bases?

It’s actually safe to say that US probably will not accept any Venezuelan president who doesn’t explicitly promise to collaborate with its persecution of Venezuelans in America
No one knows what will happen from here, and we hope for the best, but it’s shocking to have violently overthrown a government and invaded a country explicitly vowing to not only take no displaced persons or refugees but send those already here back no matter how bad it gets.

Donald Trump is carrying on a long, shameful, and extremely stupid American tradition. The consequences of earlier U.S.-backed regime-change efforts in Latin America continue to reverberate across the region decades later, manifesting as economic instability, corruption, and violence.
