Legal observers in MN are asking for dash cams.
Multiple ways to help in this link.
We need all of the dashcams we can get in Minnesota ASAFP for ICE observers.

You can shoot us cash with a few taps via this link and we’ll order them wholesale and get them deployed to Minneapolis, the suburbs, and beyond: ottergoose.net/dashcam/

Been waiting for this. There’s no way they could have trafficked this many people without CBP assisting. Whether that is looking the other way or taking bribes. No way.

That's some serious efficiency.
Lemme tell you a quick whistle goblin story. @mostlybree.kitrocha.com just popped into the chat to be like Uhhhhhh we just got a request for 10,000 whistles and then, *within one minute* it had been claimed and split between four people who already had thousands stockpiled. This crew is amazing.

"We are legion, the local moms and dads, we cruise the city in our minivans. You can’t shoot us all."
My friend, the brilliant essayist Will McGrath, wrote an essay about the beauty of resistance in all its forms here in Minneapolis.

"Everyone is doing his part here, each to his ability. This is easier to accomplish, it seems, when joy and love are the engines."

ICE is still active in MN.
We’re still seeing ICE a lot in the suburbs, following legal observers to their homes, and holding tons of our neighbors at Whipple and then dumping them out in the middle of the night. We still need to stay vigilant until every last one of them leaves our state and our neighbors are back home.

"I think we see the public is skeptical about this company, and there needs to be a different approach taken," council member Anthony King said. "I think we have no choice but to shut them off."

Minneapolis's resistance to ICE would not have been possible without its urban density. You can't have 100 people run up on every kidnapping within a few minutes without dense city neighborhoods!

It's also why I don't think ICE is likely to just try again in other big cities in the same way.
Jamison Whiting suggesting the city council make it uncomfortable for ICE to be in Minneapolis through other means, like... PARKING REGULATIONS.

A major component of the Trump administration’s deportation plan has run into trouble as towns across the nation, including Woodbury and Shakopee in the Twin Cities suburbs, have pushed back against plans to purchase warehouses to store detainees.
Why a plan to use Twin Cities warehouses to hold immigrants failed
ICE determined it must acquire “non-traditional facilities,” such as warehouses, to be developed into 16 new regional detention centers.

Today we published an investigation with @lighthousereports.com that dug into a weeklong ICE operation in Nashville from last May. It was notable because of the way Tennessee Highway Patrol worked hand in hand with the feds to target the city's immigrant communities. Here's what we learned (1/x):
