Requiring ICE agents to wear prominent identification is good. But a system of ”citizens should walk up very close to agents extending their phone to hold next to the agent” is a Dem-brained way of getting people beaten and killed under this administration.
Everyone can relax. Democrats have a solution to all this...

Rep. Ritchie Torres is introducing a bill that would require ICE agents to wear scannable QR codes linking to webpages with their names.

Many years ago in a private setting President Nixon used language suitable for that setting. This unfortunately came to light through circumstances beyond his control. He has apologized for using that language. To my knowledge he no longer uses it. He certainly does not use such language in public.

DETECTIVE: tell us the truth!

ME: [smugly] I am.

DETECTIVE: I'll have you know it's a crime to give false information to a police officer!

ME: oh really? What if I told you my name was... MICROSOFT CO-PILOT???

DETECTIVE: [quietly] oh shit he's got us, that's completely legal

Remember this whenever the democrats insist the problem with ICE is "lack of training" or some other such bullshit.

The problem is institutional. These are the people ICE wants. There is no fixing it. The only option is doing away with the agency entirely.
BREAKING: James Rodden, an ICE prosecutor who the Observer identified last year as the operator of an X account that posted “America is a White nation," “‘Migrants’ are all criminals,” and apparent praise of Adolf Hitler, appeared to be back at work Tuesday.

Had a great turnout for How Maps Lie at the Falmouth Public Library! With Woods Hole so close by it was a tough crowd filled with some heavy-hitting nerds. We all had a good time.

Also I want to make you aware that Falmouth has a tricycle book-mobile.

In an obvious message to his rival, Palmerston - as I said, since exiled to Bermuda - killed a duckling in front of its mother then paraded it past the photographers on Downing Street.
Can we use this as an opportunity to note this is a long-standing historical role, and there are other cats employed by the British government? Larry vs the foreign ministry chief mouser literally took up space in British news.

That testimony also revealed that alongside klan activity, ex-confederate units had reorganized, armed, and marched to polling places and political rallies to intimidate Black and White Republicans and moderates.
over the course of 1871, congress held seven months of hearings on ku klux klan and other white vigilante violence in the south, they took detailed testimony from hundreds of black men and women attesting to klan terror. (1/?)

Them making a company-wise declaration that there's not a single use-case or penny to be made from AI feels like it's going to make waves.

Wait, it's even easier! The bonuses won't be paid until after Trump is gone. So all the Dem candidates have to say is "hey, recruits who are hoping to skate by on faulty HR processes: I'll make sure you're fired before you see a dime."

Don't even need clawbacks!
I just found out last night that the $50k enrollment bonus only pays out after 5 years of service, and reader, the laugh I let out when I read that woke the dog from across the house. These absolute fucking grapes aren't seeing a dime of that money. No way they can ride out 5 years of this job.
ICE recruitment is going well.
