You may have a misunderstanding from common culture, that computer hacks are novel.

A company reliably patching all their endpoints and operating under even 50% of security guidance are essentially invulnerable.

Few people even hacking them have deep IT skills whatsoever.

This is a human problem.

In Cinematography interview Tobias described Mensah as the emotional anchor for the show and I agree. I loved her so much, it was so good to see a mature aged woman take co-lead role in a scifi. Noma was amazing in every scene and especially with Murderbot. Again, please #murderbot @marthawells.com

Hey @kathryntewson.bsky.social new horrible variation of "do not get legal advice from the guessing machines"
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

seen some people doing the "do not comply in advance" quote today without understanding that the words 'in advance' refer to something being optional. you can't disobey a court order. that's not complying in advance, that's legal compliance you would be stupid to ignore.
Y'all know that websites comply with subpoenas, right?

That's why it's called a court *order*.

And if you think they don't, yeah they do. They often don't have to tell you they've even done so.

"Insubordinate" questions are the questions reporters should be asking.
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

People who say "we're wolves not sheep" have never seen two ewes trying to murder each other over relative status in the flock before they give birth, and then all their friends and family picking sides because being friends with the winner will raise THEIR status, until there is a massive brawl
Revenge/physical combat was how people settled things for literally millions of years, it's normal human behavior, we're wolves not sheep, the government project trying to social engineer us and domesticate us into sheep has been unsuccessful

I can't believe this cheap method of making depression slides never occurred to me >:O
Micrargus herbigradus palp, taken using the new 'washer on a slide' method - dab of gel, palp, topped up with alcohol. Much clearer, you can't see the gel, and the 'curly appendage' that makes it herbigradus is visible amongst the curls of the embolus. This is slightly enhanced in GIMP.

What's amazing here is that MBS looks more uncomfortable about the direction the conversation took than Trump does.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

pretty much

I have some non-negotiables (such as trans rights) but my number one issue in the next D primary is “will you actually fight back”

if any moderates are on the fight side of the fight/don’t fight axis now would be a good time to demonstrate it
I would vote for a moderate if I thought they would end the filibuster, pack the court, and use every lever available to them to keep the GOP out of power. if the leftists are the ones promising that, I'll vote for them instead.

Inter alia, it says,"International students, faculty and staff should carry evidence of their immigration status with them at all times."
