How come when MY clients have paranoid fixations on Satan, computer intelligences that are watching them, and the king-god nature of the president they’re “under arrest” and “incompetent to stand trial” and “suffering methamphetamine psychosis” but when these fuckers do it they get VC money
It is likely that the tech industry has an active and growing methamphetamine problem, which is actually totally fucking obvious if you read anything coming out of the tech industry right now

I have in my family those who sneer at families who's blood traces back only to the Mayflower as latecomers to these shores. And I say that the freshest naturalized citizen, the air of their oaths barely escaped their lips, is no less, is every bit as much, a citizen of the United States as I am.
We are *all* Real America in the same way a naturalized citizen who took his oath five seconds ago is exactly as much of a citizen as someone whose ancestors came over on the Mayflower.
Another good practice for the New Year would be for all the non-fascists in America who want to opine about politics to really begin believing that urban America is Real America & that its denizens are The Authentic People. Get some self-respect & drop the volkish nationalist view that they're not
