my dumb guy reductive view is: being able to say “datacenters in space” to a room full of experts, and then have all those experts tell you you’re a genius, means your life is totally frictionless. floating in space is way less effort than walking, but it weakens your bones
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

Batteries have gotten amazing and cheap! Yet somehow, despite all the evidence everywhere, a good lot of people somehow aren't convinced.
